So after she takes the test we contact her brother. He agrees to let us take the bike back to our place so she can ride it for a while before we decide to buy it. Only one problem, it's been sitting for a while and runs like crap.
I got some fuel treatment and put it in the tank. It seemed to help a bit so we called up Stuart's and asked how long before he could tell us what was wrong. I dropped it off a couple of days later and we're still waiting to hear from him. He said a week and it's been a week and 3 days.
I'm hoping it's just a carb rebuild, though I don't understand why it's $250.
I sat on this bike and rode it down the road a few times. I really looked like a basketball on top of a toilet paper tube!! It sure is a good riding little thing. It seems to handle well though we haven't gotten it out to play on the big boy road yet.
She sure looks cute up there on that little ole seat!!! The first time she rode it...I saw that same smile that was there on the range. But I saw it in my mirrors too.....I really feel good when she's happy. Isn't that what life's supposed to be about?
